These ideas helped me to finally start losing weight naturally, sustainably and for good, after years of struggle.

I know exactly what it’s like to be in the vicious dieting cycle of hating my body and putting myself on yet another strict diet.

Inevitably, as soon as the stress of my life would kick in, I would turn to food in order to try and feel good.

And, then I'd feel guilty and make a promise to myself to start all over again.

I relentlessly punished myself and my body in this way, for almost a decade.

Have you ever done this before?

If so, I want you to know that there is another way, and discovering it changed me life.

It led me to getting sick, tired and overweight.

Just a few days before my 20th birthday, my body completely broke down. My Doctors wanted to put me on experimental medication but my intuition said ‘no’.

Even though, it felt scary in the beginning, I decided to listen to my intuition and go on my own weight loss healing journey, instead.

And, it worked!

On my own healing journey, I managed to heal a number of chronic health conditions, as well as lose over 60 pounds in the process and keep it off for good.

Here are 3 surprising discoveries that I made...

Discovery #1: Excess Weight is a Symptom

I discovered that my weight was not the real problem, it was a symptom.

My excess weight was a symptom that something in my life was out of balance and needed to be addressed.

Just as everything in your environment is holistically connected, so too are the different areas of your life.

Here are some questions that you can ask yourself to see where you might be out of balance.….
• Are you feeling fully inspired in your work situation?
• Are you feeling happy with your relationships?

• Are you feeling creatively self-expressed?
• Are you feeling bored or stuck in your life?

I discovered that my food cravings and emotional eating had consistent patterns (such as experiencing chocolate cravings whenever I felt upset).

Pay close attention to your own patterns, to notice your true feelings, as well as your own intuitive guidance. Give yourself permission to have the courage or confidence to listen and take new actions that feel aligned with your strengths, as well as your dreams.

Taking a holistic approach by observing my symptoms and patterns enabled me to get to the root cause of my physical, mental and emotional imbalances.

Discovery #2: Your Body is Your Best Friend

On my own weight loss healing journey, I was surprised to discover that my body was actually my best friend!

Before my body broke down, I had thought it was my enemy. I felt like my body was constantly betraying me and letting me down.

Particularly, on the days when I woke up with no energy, feeling exhausted and depressed and needing coffee and sugar just to get my day started.

But, what I realized on my healing journey was that even though I had been unconsciously harming myself for a number of years, it was my body that stayed faithfully by my side, trying to help me.

As soon as I gave my body the right fuel to function correctly, it forgave me immediately and I started to heal naturally.

Discovery #3: Real Foods Heal From Within.

I spent nearly a decade trying to follow all the dieting rules, which sadly only left me feeling more confused, sick and frustrated than when I first began.

Nothing seemed to work, until I discovered the natural healing power of eating 'real foods'.
