I don't know about you but I LOVE food and eating! And I'm a snacker, so I like to nibble all day. Before when I was overweight I unknowingly used to snack on foods that made me feel lethargic, tired and low in energy and make me FAT.

But these days things have changed a little. I am still snacking ... But know I know the importance of choosing energy foods, and what makes something an ENERGY giving food, I purposefully choose to snack on health-giving, life-giving and energy-giving foods.

Maybe you've never thought much about this? But, think about what types of food you snack on during the day?

There are 2 types of snacks.

There are 2 types of snacks - savoury and sweet.  My favourite savoury snacks are celery and carrots cut into sticks and dipped in lots of creamy hummous. For sweet snacks I choose the L'Arabars and Nakd Food snack bars that taste delicious and sweet but have all NATURAL sweeteners and ingredients. And more of a summer treat but, have you ever tried frozen grapes?

Oh, and also spelt flour bread with Raisins (seriously, it tastes like cake and is great with a hot steaming cup of fresh herbal tea!).... I'm feeling hungry just writing this..... I'm going to grab myself a snack now...
