I make this fruit smoothie everyday for breakfast. But you can seriously eat it anytime. It's simple, delicious and packed full of nutrients good for you, your body and your energy levels!!!
Here's the recipe for my favourite Fruit Smoothie...
Blend all together in a high speed blender:
1 - 2 bananas
1/2 - 1 avocado
1 - 2 cups of non-dairy milk (chilled if possible)
1/2 - 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
1 Tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
Any other fruit (take out pips or hard skin - optional)
Blend ingredients together then pour this delicious smoothie into a tall glass and decorate as desired....
You may find this thickens quite quickly so you can dilute with more milk, soy milk, almond milk, quinoa milk, water, even herbal tea is pretty tasty as well! Keep playing around with quantities until you create the perfect recipe!
Other delicious variations and flavour additions:
- cacao nibs
- cacao powder
- pure organic vanilla essence
- supergreens (spirulina - NOTE this will turn your smoothie very GREEN but packed full of antioxidants and nutrients - go on, be brave, your body will love you for it!)
