Have you been looking for a way to increase your health and energy naturally?
When my body broke down, I made the choice not to take the experimental medication as recommended by my doctor…
One of the key things I focused upon on my journey was ‘eating real foods’.
Real foods are whole natural foods that haven’t been tampered with, just as nature intended.
These foods are easy for our bodies to recognize, assimilate and digest. They also nourish and support our body’s ability to detoxify and heal naturally.
In this article I want to share 3 real foods that form part of my daily health and wellness routine.
The thing that each of these foods have in common is that they are produced by our miraculous honeybees!
These foods each contain special healing properties that can help boost your immune system and improve your health naturally...
1. Raw honey
Raw honey has never been tampered with or heat-treated above 95 degrees.
It is unprocessed, unpasteurised and unfiltered. This allows it to retain all of its’ natural healing properties.
The fructose in the honey helps to heal digestive disorders, detoxify the body,
and boost the immune system. Raw honey can also assist with muscle relaxation, bone strength and liver regeneration.
To get the therapeutic health benefits, be sure to choose raw honey.
2. Bee propolis extract
Bee propolis extract is also known as ‘bee glue’. It is super strong and is what bees use to seal and repair their hives!
For thousands of years, folk medicine practitioners have used bee propolis to treat all kinds of ailments including abscesses, warts, wounds, infections and sore throats.
Propolis was even listed as an official drug in the London pharmacopoeias of the 17th century.
Modern studies confirm a long list of health benefits offered by bee propolis.
A search of PubMed shows over 2,000 studies on the subject.
Propolis extract has a pleasant taste. It is also simple to take.
Just add 20 drops of it to a glass of water and drink.
3. Raw bee pollen
Bee Pollen is made by honeybees and it is the food for the young bee.
It is considered one of nature's most complete foods as it contains nearly all nutrients required by humans.
Bee Pollen is a true super food. It is rich in protein, vitamins, amino acids and folic acid.
And it also tastes amazing. I enjoy it sprinkled on my morning breakfast bowl with either fruit or yogurt.
You can also add it to smoothies as well.
One of my favourite suppliers here in the UK is the Raw Artisan Honey Shop.
They have lots of other amazing products for you to check out too…
And, now over to you! :)
Have you tried any of these bee products before?
Let me know in the comments section below!
I look forward to hearing from you...
