Progress not Perfection

Can you let the idea of perfection-ism go for good?

When you stop and think about it, how perfect is good enough? And, when is perfection, perfect enough? And, perfect enough, for whom?
 

The Thing is That You Don't Have to be Perfect.

There really is no such thing as perfection...
 
And, neither does anything else in your life!
 
Whether this be in relation to your children, your relationships, your projects, your artwork, your singing, your work, your eating habits, your dancing, your creativity, none of these need to be perfect either.
 
Each of us have our own journey. When you show up consciously, and choose to do these things with joy in your heart, to the very best of your abilities, you really can give yourself permission to fully enjoy this miraculous journey of life!
 

'Perfection is In the Imperfection'...

I love the saying that 'Perfection is in the Imperfection'...
 
Trying to make things perfect is hard work! Trying to get things to look and be perfect drains your energy. It will only ever leave you feeling exhausted and unhappy.
 
Learn how to let go of the idea of perfection and making things perfect. This will allow more space, peace and relaxation to enter into your life.
 
In my book called, 'Losing Weight is a Healing Journey' in Chapter 1, I talk about how to deal with the issue of perfectionism, especially when you are on your Healing Journey. It is so important that in the very first chapter of my book, I address this topic and recommend, 'Progress not Perfection'.
 

But What Does This Really Mean?

To choose, 'Progress not perfection', means that you get to celebrate every baby step you make on your healing journey.
 
Instead of beating up on yourself, it means that you get to feel good about yourself and all that you are doing. It means that you get to be proud of what you are doing, instead of feeling not good enough.
 
Choosing 'Progress not Perfection' means that you get to focus on your growth, your spiritual lessons and what you are being given the opportunity to learn in your life and on your path.
 
It also means that you get to notice what you are in the process of letting go of and all that you are becoming right now. And, itmeans that you get to be happy and excited about all that you doing in your life.
 
Make the healing choice to, 'Focus on Progress not Perfection', and watch your life heal and transform for the better!
